It is January and as I write, snow is falling and so what better than to daydream of the long summer days to come. With this thought of summer in mind I am delighted to have been asked to take part in a mixed media art exhibition at Dore Abbey, Herefordshire in July 2016 as part of the English Choral Experience Week.
The English Choral Experience (ECE) offers a variety of choral courses for lovers of singing and English music, set in glorious locations at home and abroad and directed by the leading choral director Paul Spicer.
The English Choral Experience Week, now in its 10th year, traditionally takes place towards the end of July within the former Cistercian Dore Abbey in Herefordshire’s Golden Valley.
An exhibition of visual art complements the musical activities of the week, providing an array of unique, wide ranging and varied styles of artworks.
The exhibition is open to the public from July 24th-30th and will be open daily between 9.30 am and 6.15 pm with free admission.
So make a date in your diary for this summer and come and visit. Directions can be found below.
